I have sample of the original perfume and this oil smells just like it. I have to say, the oil is actually stronger and longer lasting. I had planned on buying the perfume but I’m so happy I have the oil, I think I might just save my money and just use the oil. I’m hooked on this company, I started my collection already.

The opening is very floral, with a very natrual, sea-rose aroma that is strong. Within minutes, the rose steps back and the sweet, chocolate/coffee-latte scent comes forward. This is a great scent for cooler weather (it would be assaultive I feel in hot, humid weather). I would say this is about 85-90% spot on to the original Montale intense Cafe. As always, oil perfumery prices and impressions are just to good, given the cost of originals. BTW, their Aventus impression is Spot on!! I purchased 5 extras after o smelled I received the 1st. I still will use my original at times, but as it cost me nearly 300.00 for the bottle, I usually use oil perfumery impressions instead. Plus, any of you who have or have use Creed's Aventus...its performance is so fast. It simply does not last. Their impressions oil, much greater longevity.

This was a blind buy based on the description and reviews. It starts off mildly sweet but settles into something superb. Not a truly masculine scent but not feminine. Very different from what I am use to but it works. Lasts +8 hours easily.
