Identical

I haven't smelled the original so I can't talk to similarities, but this is such a lovely scent. It's not as cedary as I had hoped, but the rose comes through in a pleasant way. I'm not typically a rose fan, but this is a fresh subtle floral and not cloying. Dries down to a little more cedar, but not too woody. Lasts pretty long.

I've never experienced the original but I don't need to this is so gorgeous! The cedar is so peaceful and woodsy. It's less of an earthy forest cedar and more of a freshly made ornate cedar chest. The rose note for me is non-existant but rose can be overly powerful so I don't miss it. Absolutely lovely.

So far this perfume is a winner. Strangers and friends alike comment on it every time, usually after I have passed by, so it's got a nice waft. It's bold without being strong, gentle but striking. I think it wears well, but reapplying in the day is necessary. It's hot summer right now, and the woody botanicals are a perfect fit for the heat without being heavily earthen or musky. Interested to see how it wears in winter. Layers well with other scents.
