I had been looking for a good oil impression of this specific frag for over 4 years, tried looking for a decant of it, a sampler, anything. All I could get were full bottles which knowing Frederic Malle would set me back a kidney or two. What a godsend it is to find the exact perfume I was looking for. And boy does it smell good.

It’s a very strong regal deep Smokey frankincense with a velvety Oud accord that blends so seamlessly. While the silage is only really there if you’re close, as is the case for most oils with my body chemistry, this baby lasts. I tested a solid 8 hours where I could definitely smell the fragrance, and throughout the next day I even still got subtle hints of it off my skin. All in all, I’m thoroughly impressed. I hope there’s a atomizer version of this in the future so I can spritz this hold on everything I wear.
