Idk what the original smells like but this is right up my alley!!! I love soft musky, woodsy scents. Example clean warm cotton, Julietta by Tocca, and amber by amberblends this last one is an oil. Also kiehls musk oil!!! Anyway to name a few. This one is in the same family BUT it is stronger! I also noticed when I put it on my clothes this it lasts forever the same way.. when I put it on my skin it dies down and it becomes this very exotic musky smell.. The smell is a light and vibrant at the same time but not strong more like a forest brightness.. The point is if you like woodsy smells and musk then you will like this 💛
