Admitedly I never smelled the Creed version, but this is a very interesting scent. It starts out feminine to me almost flowery but then dries down into a very masculine musk like scent, almost like reminiscent of a lot of main ingredients in colognes. I was really torn between keeping it or giving it away to my dad who is a huge collector of colognes. My mom smelled it and thought it was for women, and my dad smelled it and thought it was for men! I think that shows the unique versatility of the smell - I think you can't go wrong. I love the other scents I've purchased way more but this one is a hit even if you have to gift it away :)
